About us

Project business is the part of business that relates directly or indirectly to projects, with a purpose to achieve objectives of a firm or several firms.

We study projects in their wider business contexts, beyond traditional single project management. The strategic intent of Project Business research group is to be among the leading academic project management research groups globally. We conduct scientific research in different areas of project business. We are currently implementing two major research projects on Large Project Governance (LPG) and Project Business and Services (PBS).

In our research we develop new applicable knowledge and novel management approaches in collaboration with both private firms and public sector organizations. Additionally, we provide teaching on project business and project-based organizations for graduate and doctoral students and executives.
