Courses and teaching
Department of Industrial Engineering and Management provides teaching on Project Business. Project Business can be studied as a part of major subject of Industrial Engineering or as a minor subject. Courses cover issues such as management of a project, management of a project-based firm, project marketing, project finance and management of uncertainty. The emphasis is on the business context of a project: Management inside a single project is covered in the basic courses of industrial engineering, and Project Business teaching addresses strategic and firm level issues. Research carried out in Project Business Research Group is utilized in course contents, and thus students have access to recent research findings.
